“Here we are” e-twinning project 2022-23

Our school is happy to participate in an e-twinning project this  school year , after our very fruitful experience last year.This year’s project was designed by our EFL teacher Evgenia Kesidou  .“Here we are: A project for living on planet Earth” is a cooperative multi-focused project whose main aim is to give an insight of the idea of sustainability to all participants as well as promote active citizenship. Teachers and students are going to be engaged in various activities during the three main stages (before, while and after) of reading the book “Here we are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth” by Oliver Jeffers.  The choice of this book has been made on the grounds of its core idea, its vivid and expressive illustration as well as its vocabulary which complies with students’ age as well as their level of English and, therefore, could foster students’ understanding of the story while enhancing their language awareness and love of reading. 

It started in November and will be a yearly project.Our partners are from Thessaloniki and Giannitsa Greece , Turkey and Spain.
